It's a part of life, like sleeping. You can't avoid it, so instead shit of freaking out, just go with with it. Sometimes the smartest thing you can do is laugh and say, "Well, shit happens."

That's not to say that everything terrible is just meant to be. It takes some effort to bounce back the tough times, but there are always ways to improve.

Don't forget that even when things are awful, they won't last forever. The sun will eventually come out again. So, the next time bullcrap hits the fan, just take a deep breath and remember that you can handle it. You're tougher than you think.

Okay, so I was just sipping/munching/noshing on my sandwich/snack/dinner, and BAM! This crazy/wild/insane thing/situation/event just happened/occurred/went down. I'm totally/completely/utterly shocked/surprised/flabbergasted.

I mean, seriously? This is nuts/bonkers/wacko. I need to take a breath/chill out/compose myself because my head/brain/thoughts are spinning/going haywire/in overdrive.

Unwind a Load Off - for a bit

Find something that helps you relax/makes you happy/brings you joy - maybe it's reading a good book, taking a hot bath, or just spending some time in nature. Whatever it is, do it regularly. Your mind and body will thank you for it.
